Ge o fogicaf Technics Inc. <br /> i 2741 River Road <br /> M.,(Ao,Calxfo--95351 <br /> (209)538-6424/FuC#538-5852 <br /> Work Plan Addendum <br /> Additional Site Characterization <br /> George's Service <br /> 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> Tracy, California <br /> Project No 2812 <br /> January 20, 1997 <br /> 1.0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The George's Service site is located at 1600 West Durham Ferry Road were Durham Ferry <br /> intersects with Highway 33 in Tracy George's Service operates an automotive repair facility <br /> and mini market store on this property <br /> The work plan Geological Technics Inc submitted on January 29, 1996 gave a brief history <br /> of this site and the work performed Subsequent to that date groundwater levels have been <br /> measured routinely and in September 1996 a groundwater monitoring event was performed <br /> A summary groundwater monitoring report was prepared on December 18, 1996 On January <br /> 17, 1997 Del-Tech again performed a groundwater monitoring event and those samples are <br /> currently in the lab being tested <br /> On January 17, 1997 Mary Meays of San Joaquin County inspected the monitoring work and <br /> held a planning meeting with Don Light, Ray Kablanow, and yourselves This addendum is <br /> in response the her January 9, 1997 letter and the January 17, 1997 meeting <br /> 2.0 MODIFICATIONS TO THE PROPOSED INVESTIGATION <br /> 21 Information Generated for Risk Based Corrective Action Evaluation <br /> These tasks include, but may not be limited to the following <br /> • Perform a well survey to locate domestic wells within a 2000 foot radius and review the <br /> site and adjacent properties for potential human and environmental receptors that may be <br /> impacted by these chemicals <br /> • Continue to perforin monthly groundwater level measurements to determine predominant <br /> direction of flow <br /> • Continue to perform groundwater monitoring to understand plume dimensions and to <br /> determine if the plume is in a growth mode, stable, or declining mode <br /> • Groundwater sample testing will include MTBE, DO, and ORP <br /> • The three domestic wells closest to this site will also be included in the quarterly testing <br /> 1 Mei & George Teranishi - 1600 West Durham Ferry Road <br />
