• The San Joaquin County inspection report for the waste oil tank showed no visual indications of <br /> contamination Subsequent laboratory analysis on the soil samples collected confirmed that the <br /> tank was secure and that no contamination was encountered at this location <br /> However, the San Joaquin County inspection report for the kerosene tank indicates that visual <br /> observastions of holes in the tank and a strong odor of a petroleum product from the excavated <br /> pit was noticed The subsequent laboratory analysis of the soil samples collected at the kerosene <br /> tank indicates that a released of petroleum hydrocarbons and volatile aromatics has been released y <br /> into the soil at this location Each of the tanks were manifested and hauled of the site by Dillard <br /> Trucking Each of the excavations were backfilled with clean soil <br /> Since the following removal activates were completed in the early part of 1990, no other <br /> documented assessments, subsurface work or remedial work has been completed at this site The <br /> full delineation of the extent of the vadose contamination or the impact on groundwater has not <br /> been completed <br /> 2 <br />
