1 <br /> i <br /> c7co6 ica l 7-ec%iics Inc. <br /> 1 101 711'Street <br /> Modesto,California 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br />' REPORT <br /> 1 Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 2"d Quarter 2002 <br /> George's Service <br /> 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> ' Tracy, California <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> ' July 26, 2002 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> This report summarizes the 2" Quarter 2002 groundwater monitoring and testing event that <br /> was completed on June 5, 2002 The water table gradient for June 5" was 0 0011 ft/ft <br /> flowing N21°E Depth to groundwater at the site ranged between 11 5 and 12 5 feet below <br /> ground surface (bgs) for the event The groundwater gradient in the site's intermediate <br /> wells was 0 0023 ft/ft flowing NOT These data are consistent with past events <br /> The analytical results from the June 5, 2002, monitoring event show that aromatic <br /> hydrocarbon compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are <br /> present in 4 of the 12 monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-4 and MW-5) Three domestic <br /> water wells in the immediate area of the tanks were tested and none of the wells contained <br /> contaminant concentrations above the laboratory detection limits <br /> A summary of groundwater analytical findings includes <br /> e TPH-G contaminant concentrations exhibit a decreasing trend in well MW-2 since <br /> the June 2001 event (four events) The impacted soils in the vicinity of the former <br /> USTs were excavated in July 2001 The decrease is probably the result of the <br /> ' reduction of available mass to leach to groundwater after the excavation project in <br /> July 2001 Additional monitoring is required to determine contaminant trends <br /> o Interestingly, MW-1 was showing increasing concentrations of TPH-G and BTEX <br /> but decreased significantly this month <br /> 1 <br />
