May 10, 2002 rpt y �',� V <br /> ' 3.3 Groundwater Monitoring <br /> The groundwater elevations will be measured once a month in MW-1, MW-2 and MW-5 <br /> ' during monitoring of the VETS to determine if operation of the system is causing a rise in <br /> the groundwater Groundwater elevation measurements will be made in all of the wells <br /> during quarterly groundwater monitoring <br /> ' In addition to TPH-G and BTEX, quarterly groundwater monitoring will include the testing <br /> for the following compounds by method 8260 <br /> ' • Ethers (MTBE, TAME, DIPS, & ETBE) <br /> • TBA <br /> a 1,2-DCA <br /> ' • EDB <br /> • Methanol <br /> ' • Ethanol <br /> If these compounds are non-detect after two monitoring events, the analysis will be <br />' dropped <br /> 4.4 SCHEDULING & REPORTING <br /> Once approved and cost pre-approval has been granted from the Fund, an application for <br /> Authority to Construct will be submitted to the SJVUAPCD The Air District typically <br /> takes 30 to 60-days to approve the application However, it may take longer because of the <br />' proximity of the New Jerusalem Elementary School at the corner of Durham Ferry Road <br /> and Koster Road <br /> It is expected that fieldwork would commence no later than 30 days after issuance of the <br />' Authonty to Construct Monthly VETS monitoring reports will be submitted to <br /> SJVUAPCD, SJC PHS/EHD and CRWQCB Quarterly groundwater monitoring reports <br /> will be submitted to SJC PHSIEHD and CRWQCB At the end of one year of operation, a <br />' summary report will be prepared and submitted to SJC PHSIEHD and CRWQCB This <br /> report will contain a full discussion of all remedial activities performed at the site over the <br /> previous year, calculations of mass of contaminant removed and recommendations for <br /> further remedial activities <br /> Task Description Completion Data <br /> • Submit Work Plan Addendum to San Joaquin County May 2002 <br /> Receive approval of Work Plan from San Joaquin County June 2002 <br />' • Submit Cost Pre-Approval to USTCFP June 2002 <br /> • Receive Approval of Costs for VETS from USTCFP July 2002 <br />' • Submit Authority to Construct application to SJVUAPCD July 2002 <br /> • Receive approval from SJVUAPCD Sept 2002 <br /> a Installation and startup of VETS Sept 2002 <br /> 9 3 month operation, maintenance and monitoring of VETS Oct-Dec 2002 <br /> 1 <br />
