Geologi al7'echnics lim Page 7 Groundwater Monitoring Report • Project No 425 2 November 8,2005 1 was located, cleaned with bleach and Alconox® then allowed to run for a minimum of five ' minutes prior to sampling Once purging was completed, the flow of water from the hose bib was reduced to a slow ' trickle Extreme care was exercised while collecting samples to prevent agitation of the water Water samples were transferred from the hose bib into 40-m1 VOA vials preserved with hydrochloric acid while minimizing sample aeration during transfer of the sample ' VOA samples were checked for headspace bubbles, labeled, inserted into foam holders and placed into a cooled ice chest for transport to the laboratory ' The sampling technician wore disposable gloves while collecting all samples A chain of custody document, listing all samples collected and their intended analyses, accompanied the samples from the field to the laboratory, thereby providing a means to track the movement of the samples and ensure their integrity ' 2.4 Laboratory Analysis—Domestic Wells The Domestic Well groundwater samples collected on July 20, 2005 were delivered to Excelchem Environmental Labs (California Certification # 2119), of Roseville, California, for analysis The samples were analyzed using the following methods o BTEX—EPA method 8260B 9 TPH-Gasoline—EPA method 8260B e MTBE—EPA method 8260B ' The lab results for the above analysis are summarized in Table 10 of Appendix A, and the laboratory data are presented in Appendix B Analytical results are discussed in Section 3 0 ' As required under AB2886, the laboratory data were submitted electronically to GeoTracker on November 7, 2005 and the confirmation number is 7441491246 1 3.0 FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION Groundwater analytical results and field observations are discussed below
