1 <br /> CeoCogicaC Tec%iWS lac. <br /> ' 11017"st=t <br /> Modesto,California 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(249)522-4227 <br /> REPORT <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 2ud Quarter 2004 <br /> George's Service <br /> 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> ' Tracy, California <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> ' August 6, 2004 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> ' This report summarizes the 2nd Quarter 2004 groundwater monitoring and testing event that <br /> was completed on April 27, 2004 The water table gradient for this monitoring event was <br /> 0 0013 ft/ft flowing N 14°W Depth to groundwater, in the water table' _wells, at the site ranged between 11 b0 and 12 95 feet below ground surface (bgs) for the event The <br /> groundwater gradient in the site's intermediate wells was 0 0025 ft/ft flowing N89�E These <br /> data are consistent with past events The vertical component of groundwater flow has been <br /> ' consistently in the upward direction and may be the primary reason the deeper aquifer has not <br /> been impacted by these petroleum compounds <br /> ' The analytical results from the April 2004, monitoring event show that aromatic hydrocarbon <br /> compounds (BTEX) and gasoline range petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in 4 <br /> monitoring wells sampled during this event (MW-1, MW-2, MW-4 and MW-5) Three <br />' domestic water wells in the immediate area of the former tanks were tested and none of the <br /> wells contained contaminant concentrations above the laboratory detection limits <br />' A summary of groundwater analytical findings includes <br /> • TPH-G concentrations in wells MW-1 and MW-4 are nearly constant in the last two <br />' testing events (113/04 and 4127104) <br /> • TPH-G concentrations are elevated in MW-5 and the well has exhibited a trend of <br /> increasing concentrations over the last few years <br />
