• 00010 ical Techalcs W. <br /> ' 1101 70,sheet <br /> Modesto,California 95354 <br /> (209)522-4119/Fax(209)522-4227 <br /> REPORT <br /> ' Groundwater Monitoring <br /> 1St Quarter 2006 <br /> ' George's Service <br /> 1600 Durham Ferry Road <br /> ' Tracy, California <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> ' April 27, 2006 <br /> EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> The site, located at the intersection of Highway 33 and Durham Ferry Road (Figure 1), has <br /> been owned and operated by George and Mei Teranishi since the 1940's as an automobile <br /> repair facility and market Gasoline was sold at the site until 1990, when the tanks were <br /> ' removed This report summarizes the 0 Quarter 2006 groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> event that was completed on January 22, 2006 <br /> ' The four zones at the site showed the following general characteristics <br /> 1 Zone A wells—Bearing and slope were N 17E and 0 0007 ft/ft, respectively <br /> 2 Zone B wells -Bearing and slope were N79°W and 0 0030 ft/ft, respectively <br /> ' 3 Zones C wells - Bearing and slope were N70°W and 0 0200 ft/ft, respectively The <br /> bearing is suspect because the three wells monitored in this zone lie nearly in a <br /> ' straight line <br /> 4 Zones D well - Bearing and slope cannot be calculated because there is only one well <br /> in this zone <br /> ' 5 The vertical component of groundwater flow is predominantly in the upward <br /> direction <br /> ' The analytical results from the January 22, 2006 monitoring event show that TPH-G, BTEX, <br /> Fuel Oxygenates and/or Lead Scavenger constituents are present in seven (7) out of the 12 <br /> monitoring wells (MW-1, MW-2, MW-4, MW-5, MW-7, MW-8 and MW-106) The <br />
