Geological TechAks kc Page 7 ' Groundwater Monitonng Report Project No 425 2 January 31,2006 ' The lab results for the above analysis are summarized in Tables 7 through 9 of Appendix A, and the laboratory data are presented in Appendix B Analytical results are discussed in Section 3 0 As required under AB2886, the laboratory data were submitted electronically to GeoTracker on January 23, 2006 and the confirmation number is 1974418103 2.3 Groundwater Sampling Procedure—Domestic Wells On October 30, 2005, Del-Tech personnel arrived on site, purged and sampled three domestic wells within a 500-foot radius of the site The hose bib closest to each of the domestic wells ' was located, cleaned with bleach and Alconox® then allowed to run for a mumrnum of five minutes prior to sampling ' Once purging was completed, the flow of water from the hose bib was reduced to a slow trickle Extreme care was exercised while collecting samples to prevent agitation of the ' water Water samples were transferred from the hose bib into 40-m1 VOA vials preserved with hydrochloric acid while minimizing sample aeration during transfer of the sample VOA samples were checked for headspace bubbles, labeled, inserted into foam holders and placed into a cooled ice chest for transport to the laboratory The sampling technician wore disposable gloves while collecting all samples ' A chain of custody document, listing all samples collected and their intended analyses, accompanied the samples from the field to the laboratory, thereby providing a means to track ' the movement of the samples and ensure their integrity 2.4 Laboratory Analysis—Domestic Wells ' The Domestic Well groundwater samples collected on October 30, 2005 were delivered to Excelchem Environmental Labs (California Certification # 2119), of Roseville, California, for analysis The samples were analyzed using the following methods • BTEX--EPA method 8260B ' • TPH-Gasoline—EPA method 8260B • Fuel Oxygenates (MtBE, DIPS, ETBE, TAME and TBA) by EPA method 8260B Lead Scavengers (1,2-DCA and EDB)by EPA method 8260B The lab results for the above analysis are summarized in Table 10 of Appendix A, and the laboratory data are presented in Appendix B Analytical results are discussed in Section 3 0 As required under AB2886, the laboratory data were submitted electronically to GeoTracker on January 23, 2006 and the confirmation number is 1974418103 1
