Geological TechAks kc Page 7 <br /> ' Groundwater Monitonng Report <br /> Project No 425 2 <br /> January 31,2006 <br /> ' The lab results for the above analysis are summarized in Tables 7 through 9 of Appendix A, <br /> and the laboratory data are presented in Appendix B Analytical results are discussed in <br /> Section 3 0 <br /> As required under AB2886, the laboratory data were submitted electronically to GeoTracker <br /> on January 23, 2006 and the confirmation number is 1974418103 <br /> 2.3 Groundwater Sampling Procedure—Domestic Wells <br /> On October 30, 2005, Del-Tech personnel arrived on site, purged and sampled three domestic <br /> wells within a 500-foot radius of the site The hose bib closest to each of the domestic wells <br /> ' was located, cleaned with bleach and Alconox® then allowed to run for a mumrnum of five <br /> minutes prior to sampling <br /> ' Once purging was completed, the flow of water from the hose bib was reduced to a slow <br /> trickle Extreme care was exercised while collecting samples to prevent agitation of the <br /> ' water Water samples were transferred from the hose bib into 40-m1 VOA vials preserved <br /> with hydrochloric acid while minimizing sample aeration during transfer of the sample <br /> VOA samples were checked for headspace bubbles, labeled, inserted into foam holders and <br /> placed into a cooled ice chest for transport to the laboratory <br /> The sampling technician wore disposable gloves while collecting all samples <br /> ' A chain of custody document, listing all samples collected and their intended analyses, <br /> accompanied the samples from the field to the laboratory, thereby providing a means to track <br /> ' the movement of the samples and ensure their integrity <br /> 2.4 Laboratory Analysis—Domestic Wells <br /> ' The Domestic Well groundwater samples collected on October 30, 2005 were delivered to <br /> Excelchem Environmental Labs (California Certification # 2119), of Roseville, California, <br /> for analysis The samples were analyzed using the following methods <br /> • BTEX--EPA method 8260B <br /> ' • TPH-Gasoline—EPA method 8260B <br /> • Fuel Oxygenates (MtBE, DIPS, ETBE, TAME and TBA) by EPA method 8260B <br /> Lead Scavengers (1,2-DCA and EDB)by EPA method 8260B <br /> The lab results for the above analysis are summarized in Table 10 of Appendix A, and the <br /> laboratory data are presented in Appendix B Analytical results are discussed in Section 3 0 <br /> As required under AB2886, the laboratory data were submitted electronically to GeoTracker <br /> on January 23, 2006 and the confirmation number is 1974418103 <br /> 1 <br />
