PHS/EHD has approved-the work plan which included: <br /> (6) 8" soil borings:3 on site and,3 off site; <br /> (4) 8" soil borings - converted into monitoring wells: <br /> 1 on site and 3 off site; <br /> (3) 10" soil borings - converted into vapor extraction wells: <br /> 3 on site; and <br /> (1) 10" soil boring converted into an on site extraction well. <br /> The work is necessary, in order to proceed with the investigation of petroleum-hydrocarbon <br /> contamination which resulted from leaking underground storage tanks.- The off site work, <br /> consisting of six borings, is located in San Joaquin 'County easements; therefore, an <br /> encroachment permit from San Joaquin County Public Works will be necessary prior to <br /> PHS/EHD issuance of drilling permits.
