ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES <br /> This AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING SERVICES ( "Agreement" ) is made <br /> as of the day of , 199_, between <br /> ( "Consultant" ) and STELLA RUIZ and <br /> WILIBALDO RUIZ doing business as RUIZ GROCERY, ( "Client" ) . <br /> 1. Recitals. <br /> A. Consultant is engaged in the business of providing <br /> professional environmental, engineering, and consulting services. <br /> B. Client owns certain real property ( "Site" ) which <br /> is located at 4491 West Durham Ferry Road, Tracy, California. <br /> C. Client has retained the law firm of Neumiller & <br /> Beardslee to provide legal representation in connection with the <br /> site assessment and remediation being required by San Joaquin <br /> County for the Site, and with potential litigation related to the <br /> Site. <br /> D. Client has retained Consultant to conduct certain <br /> environmental investigations of the Site in order to develop the <br /> technical information necessary to enable Neumiller & Beardslee <br /> to render effective legal service to Client. <br /> E. Consultant possesses the necessary engineering and <br /> technical expertise to translate the technical information <br /> concerning the Site into a form that is readily comprehensible to <br /> Neumiller & Beardslee. <br /> F. - The work that has been performed and will be <br /> performed by Consultant for Client at the direction of Neumiller <br /> & Beardslee is and will be an essential aid to the rendering of <br /> effective legal services by Neumiller & Beardslee to Client. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> 2 . Scope and Execution of Services. <br /> A. Consultant will diligently perform the tasks <br /> outlined in the agreed Scope of Services which is attached as <br /> exhibit "A" to this Agreement and incorporated into this <br /> Agreement by this reference, and submit results thereon in a <br /> timely manner (the "Work" ) . Exhibit "A" , and the scope of the <br /> work, may be expanded from time to time upon signature of the <br /> parties to such amended exhibit "A" . <br /> B.
