1 i • <br /> CLEARWA' TER <br /> x, R () 1, P, ! \ C <br /> Pump test data will be evaluated using methods appropriate for the aquifer type <br /> Hydraulic conductivity, transmissivity and storativity (or specific yield) will be <br /> calculated Calculations used for the derivation of these values will be provided, as <br /> well as figures showing the measured drawdown and calculated capture zone Field <br /> data will also be reduced and presented in tabular form in the final report of testing <br /> Procedural details are presented in the Aquifer Test Protocols (Appendix B) <br /> 5.2 Vapor Extraction Test <br /> Vapor extraction testing will be conducted in accordance with the protocols <br /> provided in Appendix C It is anticipated that the extraction test will be conducted <br /> using a 3/4 Horsepower regenerative blower, with extracted soil vapor removed <br /> from the effluent air stream by means of granular activated carbon in 55 gallon <br /> containers connected in series <br /> The testing will be conducted using wells VW-1 and VW-2 as extraction points <br /> Vapors will be extracted from each in accordance with the attached protocols for a <br /> period of approximately three hours each Monitoring wells MW-2 and MW-7, the <br /> pump test well, and VW-3 will be utilized as monitoring points during each vapor <br /> extraction test <br /> 5.3 Air Sparging'Fest <br /> The air sparging test will be performed by applying air pressure to the spargmg wells <br /> by means of an air compressor or blower The flow of air from the sparge wells will <br /> be monitored to determine it's extent and effect on the surrounding formation and <br /> ground water The test will be performed at different levels of applied air pressure <br /> The applied air pressure will be changed when the pressure influence in <br /> surrounding wells stabilizes The initial applied air pressure will be 10 prig The <br /> applied air pressure will not exceed 45 psig, the PVC pressure limit The infected air <br />' pressure will not exceed 45 psi to provide a safety factor to prevent rupture of the <br /> well screen, and the flowrate will not exceed 60 cfm <br /> Prior to beginning the test, the following measurements will be made at the <br /> surrounding observation wells <br /> 0 Depth to water will be measured to the nearest 0 01 foot with a Solinst <br /> electronic interface probe, or equivalent <br />' 0 Dissolved oxygen (DQ) content of the well water will be measured <br /> D-107/PILOT TEST WP 5 <br />
