After funding has been obtained, Ruiz <br /> Grocery will install one additional onsite and three offsite monitoring wells in an effort to <br /> define the plume of dissolved hydrocarbons in groundwater and to monitor groundwater <br /> upgradient and lateral of known hydrocarbons in soil Once the extent of hydrocarbons has <br /> been assessed, a Problem Assessment Report will be prepared and activities leading to site <br /> remediation will begin. <br /> CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS <br />' Free-phase hydrocarbons were detected in wells MW-1 and MW-2 Dissolved gasoline <br /> hydrocarbons were not reported in well MW-3. The groundwater flow direction was to the <br /> northeast.
