Teichert and Sons, Inc. Property
103 North E Street
Stockton, California
(Site Code No. 1555)
.Dear Mr. Knoll:
On behalf of A. Teichert and Sons, Inc. (Teichert), Stratus Environmental, Inc. (Stratus)
has prepared this document for the Teichert property located at 103 North E Street,
Stockton, California (the Site, see Figures l and 2). Ali underground storage tank (UST)
fuel leak environmental case remains open at the subject property. A majority of'the
petroleum hydrocarbon impact to the subsurface has been rernediated, However residual
concentrations of select contaminants, most notably gasoline range organics (GRO) and
1,2-dichlorocthane (1,2-DCA), remain dissolved in.groundwater beneath the site.
Based on our understanding of the distribution of contaminants in groundwater beneath
the site, and on conversations and electronie,.mall correspondence with representatives of
the Sall Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (SJCEIID) and/or the
California Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB), between.June 24 and 26,
2009, closure of the environmental case at tile' subject property is appropriate. However,
prior to further evaluating the environmental case for closure, SJCEHD and R'ATQCB
personnel Have requested that water duality projections for GRO and 1,2-DCA be
prepared at the site, using historical groundwater analytical data from wells containing
the highest concentrations of each of tale selected contaminants. These water quality
pl-oJectlons are included in this report. SJCEHD has also requested that available
information regarding historical UST use at.the site be documented; and that lnformatloll
regarding current property ownership_ be .provided. Tills report also .provides this !
requested information_
K:+F6dicrL%Stockton-103A4cporis\tciclicrt-addendum-closure 03-26-04.doe
{
