Mr. Harlin Knoll, SJCEHD September 9, 2009
Addenduul to SCM and Environmental Case Closure,Request Project No. 2001-0103-07
A.Teichert and Sons,Inc.Property,Stockton,CA
Page 3
PROPERTY OWNERSHIP
Teichert and Land Company, P.O. Box 15002, Sacramento, CA 95851 owns the property
at the subject site (San Joaquin County Parcel No.. 153-180-01). It is our understanding,
based on conversations with Teichert personnel, that n6 liens or mortgages have been
_ taken out on the property.
CLOSURE REQUEST
Based on the findings of this assessment-, we believe that completion of ftu-ther
environmental activities at the subject site 'are not warranted, and that closure of this
environmental case is appropriate. Although select fuel-related contaminants remain in
groundwater beneath the site, available. data. suggests that concentrations of these
contaminants will attenuate within a reasonable period of time. Strattis has previously
reported that no groundwater sensitive receptors to the impact beneath the site-.are known
(Site Conceptual Model„April 25, 2006); aid completion of additional site cleanup or
assessment work does not appear justified. Stratus is therefore requesting that SJCEHD
and RWQCB personnel consider closure of the environmental case for this site.
If you have any questions or comments concerning the content of this report, or the site in
general,please contact Jay Johnson at(530) 676-6000.
Sincerely,
57_PA7-US ENVIKONM
ArtjI WttG.Bit[inger -'t
Scott G.
