mow }. H.KLEINFEI_DER&ASSOCIATES <br /> 2 IMOMMION <br /> A. Teichert & Son, Inc. (Teichert) maintains a facility located at 103 <br /> North E Street, Stockton, Cali <br /> forr-ia (see Plate 1). The Facility is used <br /> to service, <br /> repair and stare earth—moving equipment. The site is also <br /> icles and trucks+ <br /> for servicing <br /> used for fueling passenger vehtrucks, and <br /> n for filling PUMP <br /> trucks with fuel for servicing equipment in the field. <br /> The exact age of the facility is not known at this time, but Teichert <br /> personnel believe the facility and associated underground fuel storage <br /> ` tanks are in excP'is of 20 years old. <br /> Y In'. the fall of 1986, Teichert removed two underground gasoline storage <br /> r" tanks and one waste oil tank. Results of chemical testing of soil from <br /> beneath the removed gasoline tanks indicated leakage has occurred. On <br /> r December 9 and 10, 1986, Kleinfelder performed a Limited soil <br /> fdrocarbons in soil adjacent to the <br /> investigation and detected petroleum hY with a photoionization <br /> removed tanks based on soil samples and screening <br /> f-, detector (PID). <br /> i <br /> samples from five boring locations (B-1 through <br /> Ycleinfeider collected soil <br /> B—s) in the area adjacent to and sure removed tank location in <br /> rounding th <br /> soil <br /> 1:. <br /> i ?.
