Box 2009
Stockton, CA 95201 j
Dear Linda:
i
The impacted soil cuttings generated during the installation of MW-13 at 103 North
E Street in Stockton has now been successfully bio-remediated. Please refer to A.
Teichert & Son's (ATS) letters dated October 22, 1992 and November 3, 1992 for the
original proposal.
Analytical results for the original soil cuttings and the confirmation soil sample are
presented in Table 1. Certified analytical reports for the confirmation soil sample have
also been enclosed for your review.
I
The confirmation soil sample collected indicates that the soil cuttings have been
sufficiently remediated. There is still 0.040 mg/kg of TPI-fg remaining. However, since the
total volume of soil is only 1.16 cubic yards and the ground-water depth is approximately
71 feet, the remaining contamination does not represent a significant threat to ground-
water.
ATS proposes to spread the remediated soil on the unpaved portion of the yard
where equipment is parked and stored. At this time soil remediation is considered to be
complete and no further action is warranted. ATS recommends that this issue be closed.
Upon your approval, the disposition of the remediated soil will be noted in the next
quarterly report.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 916-386-6916. Thank
you for your assistance.
Sincerely yours,
.4 0411.
George Takemori
STK30
Encl: Site Mag
Certified Analytical Reports
