I <br /> R Teichert&son Inc <br /> July 94 DMR <br /> 1 0 aNTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND INFORMATOON <br /> 1 1 Scope of Work <br /> This report presents the results of quarterly groundwater monitoring by BCR & <br />} Associates, Ltd , (BCR) at the A Teichert & Son, Inc Mobile Equipment Shop located <br /> in Stockton, California This work was completed under contract to Ramos <br /> Environmental Engineering, of West Sacramento, California The following scope of <br /> work was completed according to the BCR standard procedures included in Appendix <br /> A <br /> C. Depth to groundwater was measured in six wells, MW-9 through MW- <br /> 14 <br /> D Four wells, MW-10, MW-1 1 , MW-12 and MW-14 were purged and <br /> sampled <br /> Groundwater samples were submitted to Sparger Technology, Inc a <br /> State-Certified analytical laboratory located in Sacramento, California for <br /> analysis of total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH) as gasoline and benzene, <br /> toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes (BTEX) <br /> C. Groundwater level measurements were evaluated and the results <br /> triangulated to determine hydraulic gradient and direction beneath the <br /> site <br /> 1 2 Previous *Work <br /> Previous work at the site completed by other parties since 1986 has removed <br /> gasoline, diesel, and waste oil underground storage tanks Samples from the UST <br /> excavations indicated elevated concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons Prior to <br /> soil excavation from the former UST and piping areas, numerous soil borings were <br /> advanced and sampled to evaluate the horizontal and vertical extent of product <br /> release Monitoring wells MW-1 through MW-13 were constructed and sampled <br /> Well MW-14 was constructed and sampled in February, 1994 The well was <br /> designed to serve as a soil vapor extraction recovery well A drop in the water table <br /> beneath the site has resulted in six remaining wells intersecting the water table MW- <br /> 9 is obstructed and sample collection is infeasible Well MW-14 supplanted nearby <br /> 01 <br /> i 1 <br />
