r
Mr. George Takemori Project 201790-002.007
May 11, 1999
Page 5
TPHG, TPHD, and MTBE were detected in the stockpiled soil excavated from the UST
complex and dispensers. The stockpiled soil and associated pea gravel will be
transported in May 1999, to Forward Landfill (Forward) in Stockton, California.
Forward has received soil profiling information and accepted the soil for disposal.
Approximately 700 cubic yards of stockpiled soil will be transported and disposed.
Teichert will provide a separate letter to the SJCPHS/EHD reporting the actual soil
volume transported and disposed, and will provide disposal manifests.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on confirmation sampling and analytical results presented in this letter, and
successful removal and disposal of impacted soil from the UST complex, Pinnacle
recommends that the SJCPHSIEHD issue a No Further Action letter for this site.
Please call Matt Turner at (530) 676-6883 or Jay Johnson at (530) 676-6880 if you have
• any questions or comments.
Sincerely,
Pinnacle
Matt Turner Ja .
