J
RE: Reeves' ("Dick'.s")Exxon, 2360 East Rd., Tracy, CA 95376 (County site code
1397)
Dear Mr. Infurna:
In response to your letter of April 29 regarding the referenced site, enclosed please find a site
map and three cross sections depicting "zero lines" of contamination along with laboratory data
sheets characterizing the stockpiled soil.
Various remedial alternatives for the site are currently"under consideration. Upon completion
of initial feasibility and cost analyses these alternatives will be submitted for your review and
input. Please be assured that we are pursuing this matter with all due haste and expect to
propose and carry out an aggressive plan.
As of March 27 weekly inspection.and maintenance of the stockpiled soil has been conducted.
I trust this has diminished, the number of complaints received by your office from nearby
tenants. However, pursuant to a phone conversation with_Mr. Tony Scott of the San Joaquin
Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District, based on the analytical results of the stockpiled
soil, it is no longer necessary to continue this practice.
We have at this time initiated a survey of nearby wells. Upon receipt and tabulation of the data
the results will be forwarded to your office.
If you have any comments or if we can provide you with additional information please contact
me at your convenience.
Respectfully,
RESNA Industries
Gregory.
