The groundwater flow direction at the <br /> time of measurement was generally towards the northeast, with a gradient of approximately 0 004 <br /> ft/ft A groundwater gradient map for September 23, 1999 is presented on Figure 2 <br /> Groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1 <br /> GROUNDWATER SAMPLING <br /> Wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 were purged of at least three well casing volumes and sampled on <br /> September 23, 1999. All purge water was contained in properly labeled 55 gallon drums.
