tom/ L,f U <br /> GROUND ZERO ANALYSIS, INC. <br /> 1714 Mam Street <br /> Escalon, Cahforma 95320-1927 <br /> Telephone (209)838-9888 <br /> Facsmnle (209) 838-9883 <br /> I <br /> April 21, 2005 <br /> Mr Ron Pestana <br /> John Pestana QTIP Trust <br /> P O Box 672 <br /> Manteca, CA 95336-9998 <br /> Subject Groundwater Monitoring and Sampling Report <br /> Former Reeve's Exxon, 2360 East Street, Tracy, California <br /> Dear Mr Pestana <br /> This letter report summarizes the results of groundwater samplmg activities at the subject site <br /> (Figure 1) during the month of April 2005 <br /> Site activities consisted of measuring depth to water, purging all site wells, and collecting <br /> groundwater samples from all site wells The groundwater samples were analyzed for total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylenes (BTEX), <br /> and methyl-tent-butyl ether (MTBE) <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling was conducted on April 8, 2005 The depth to <br /> groundwater in site wells ranged from 6 38 to 7 17 feet below the tops of the well casings <br /> Groundwater flow beneath the site was toward the northeast at a gradient of approximately <br /> 0 0061 ft/ft A groundwater gradient map for April 8, 2005 is presented on Figure 2 <br /> Groundwater monitoring data are summarized in Table 1 <br /> At least three well casing volumes of water were purged from wells MW1, MW2, and MW3 <br /> prior to sampling All purged groundwater was contained in properly labeled 55-gallon drums <br /> Field purge logs are included in Attachment A Groundwater samples were submitted to <br /> Argon Laboratories (FLAP #2359) The samples were analyzed. for TPHg using EPA 8015B, <br /> and BTEX and MTBE by EPA method 8021B <br /> The protective well box for well MW3 has sunk to slightly below the ground surface and is in <br /> need of repair Groundwater monitoring data and purge logs are included in Attachment A <br /> z <br />
