Eight tasks,; described below, are required <br /> to complete the proposed work.. .-` <br /> BACKGROUND <br /> This proposed work is based on the "Tank Removal and Sampling <br /> Report" , prepared' by KLEINFELDER, dated May 1, 2000 which was <br /> recently sent to JPCA and the re'connaissance of the above <br /> identified site by John P. Cummings;. <br /> The property, located in the industrial section of Stockton, near <br /> the Channel, is approximately square lying south of Fremont <br /> Street, east-of Baker Street, west of Edison and north of the <br /> former Colberg Boat Works. , All:'.buildings have were razed and the <br /> subject site .is-. essentially •-level ..The former-UST-excavat-ion <br /> located on the east side of the- 11approximately one half way <br /> between' Fremont Street and the. fbrmer Colberg Boat Works. <br /> ,. <br /> It is reported that two Underground'. Storage ,Tanks (UST.) , one with <br /> an estimated 10, 500 gallon capacity and the other with an <br /> estimated 1, 800 gallon capacity;'" were removed in accordance with <br /> applicable permits and protocol from the subject property on <br /> April 12, 2000. <br /> Soil samples and a single water sample [taken from the west end' <br /> of the excavation] were analyzed)"for Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons <br />
