77,
WALLACE'"'ErA17E5.INC
SUSSWACE SOILS EVALUA71ON
u s. spRoyr
January 11, 1991
WKA No. 1004.41
Page 3
RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on our findings and conversations with the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Division, we recommend that a site-specific workplan for a proper site characterization be
prepared so that an appropriate, cost-effective remedial treatment can be implemented for the
property.
The
workplan would include excavation of contaminated soils and installation of a monitoring well
for sampling. Emphasis should be placed on confirming the source of the motor oil
contamination, and on determining if these soils need to be remediated. Our workplan could be
prepared and issued to the county for review by January 16, 1991.
LIMITATIONS
The above conclusions are based on our assessment of conditions indicated to exist as of the
i date of our field work, December 4, 1990. This report is applicable only to the investigated
property and should not be used for any other property.
,i
' Wallace - Kuhl and Associates, Inc.
t
a Mark Ha
97
Staff Engineer
enr
Al
P_;NTNONY '•
' AC1NO
No.1420
Anthony Saracin * CERTIFIED
Senior Geo ist t ENGINEERING
t Cf CLOGMT
MH:AS:kw ATF OF
1'x.YY.
iYa
