Stockton, CA 95209 San Joaquin County Public Health Service, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the "Second Quarter 1993 Groundwater Monitoring Report and Workplan Addendum" dated July 15, 1993 as submitted by RESNA and has the following comments. In correspondence from PHS/EHD dated December 14, 1992, this site was directed to conduct and submit timely and complete quarterly monitoring reports for a full year's period J starting with the fourth quarter 1992. Upon receipt of the fourth quarter 1993 monitoring report due by January 15, 1994, PHS/EHD will allow the following modification to the sampling and monitoring events at the site starting with the first quarter 1994: (v MW4 to be sampled quarterly MW4 and MW-5 to be sampled semi annually MW-2 and MW-3 to be sampled once a year All monitoring reports to be complete and include all items listed in PHS/EHD December 14, 1992 correspondence as per Section 2652 (d) California Code of Regulations, Title 23 and submitted to PHS/EHD by the 15th of the month following the quarters end. PHS/EHD agrees with the proposal to place an additional monitoring well (MW-6) in the downgradient position and will issue a permit to install the well when the permit application and $89 fee is submitted.
