Each tank is double-wall steel tank with concrete insulation. Tanks are mounted on concrete pads within a gravel area . Piping between the generator and storage tanks is single-wall steel . The piping is a combination of aboveground and underground piping, with the underground portion wrapped for corrosion protection. A storm drain inlet is located in the street gutter approximately 3 feet north of the tanks . There is also portable rental air compressor with 63 gallon diesel tank made of high density polyethylene . Compressor is placed on a collapsible spill berm of sufficient capacity, on a pavement, outside the Boiler house, of the West side, . The closest storm drain inlet is located about 40 feet away to the North . 2 .2 .3 Water Treatment (RO) Plant The water treatment plant is located south of the inmate housing area and contains an emergency generator with integral 150-gallon belly tank (day tank) and 2 , 000-galllon external AST for diesel fuel . The day tank is a double-wall steel tank within the generator package. The external tank is a double-wall steel tank with concrete insulation and is located within a concrete, secondary containment berm . Piping between the generator and external fuel tank is double-wall, with steel internal pipe and plastic external pipe . The piping runs underground between the storage tank and generator package . The containment berm around the external fuel tank is exposed to rainfall and contains a sump and drain valve to allow inspection of accumulated water prior to discharge to the grass - covered hillside west of the water treatment plant . The generator and external fuel tank are new and are located on a paved area. There are two (2) chemical storage buildings with built-in secondary containments placed on a paved area outside the Plant, East side . 55 gal steel drums with motor oil and accumulated used/waste oil are usually stored in these buildings . 2 . 2 .4 Wastewater Treatment Plant The wastewater treatment plant is located at the northeast corner of the facility and contains an emergency generator with integral 150 - gallon belly tank (day tank) and a 2 , 000 -gallon external AST for diesel fuel .
