Marina Investors for a site investigation of potential soil and groundwater impaction at King Island Resort, 11530 West .. Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1). This report details the results of that investigation. 2.0 SITE BACKGROUND The site is located on the east levee of the Honker Cut within the Sacraments) - San Joaquin Ie—itz. The site is currently used as a marina for pleasure and recreational boats and encompasses approximately 6 acres of property along West Eight Mile Road (Figure 2). The Marina property contains three underground storage tanks which are used to fuel boats. The tanks consist of one 6,000-gallon regO r, one 2,000-gallon unleaded, and one 4,000-gallon diesel tw!,'-. The top of the tanks are visible from the surface. E. On July 36, 1988 and again on May 11, 1989 each product tank was tested by Telesis Tank ' Testing o;;Sacramento, California. All tanks on bath o-xasions passed the integrity test and were certified as tight.
