Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California.
Site Code: 1557 a
Dear Mr. Infurna:
Enclosed are the latest analytical results and chain-of-custody documents for grcundwater
samples collected from the above referenced site. Groundwater monitoring and sampling was
conducted by RESNA Industriespersonnel on October 18, 1991. Water level measurements
were collected from ea 11 monitoring well prior to purging and sampling(Attachment 1). Water
levels have dropped from 0.80 to 2.56 feet since last monitoring it April 1991. A groundwater
gradient map was created using the data collected on October 18, 1991 (Figure 1). The gradie.rt
is approximately 0.05 feet/feet or 264 feet/mile in a northeast direction.
E
Subsequent to monitoring, each well was purged by extracting approximately 4 well volumes.
While purgin-,the groundwater parameters(temperature,conductivity,and pH)were monitored
and allowed to stabilize before water samples were collected. The samples were transported to
21d analyzed by state-certified Sequoia Analytical in Concord, Califomia.
} Samples were analyzed for 13TEX using EPA method 8020/602 and, TPHG and TPHD using
modified EPA Method 8015. Monitoring Well MW4 did not contain enough water to analyze
--- -- -- ---for TPHD.Monitoring-Wel Is MWI;-MW2;-i6d MW3 did not contain detectable concentrations
of any petroleum hydrocarbon analyte: Monitoring wells MW4 and MWS contained benzene
concentrations of 690 and 1,300µg/I,respective*ly and TPHG concentrations of 3,400 and 4,400
dig/I, respectively along with detectable T, E, X, and TPHD(MW5). Laboratory reports with .
chain-of custody documents are included in Attachment 2. Table 2 summarizes laboratory
analyses.
a
K11U5209.TLY
r-,
