O <br /> L -r- <br /> � <br /> L ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIESOORPORATION <br /> L s r + <br /> October 27, 1997 <br /> 62514 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject Third Quarter 1997 Groundwater Monitoring Report for King Island Resort, 11530 <br /> West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California Site Code 1557 <br /> Mr Infurtia <br /> This letter report is presented to update site activities performed during third quarter 1997 at 11530 <br /> West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California(Figure 1) Site activities included quarterly groundwater <br />,M monitoring and sampling <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> The third quarter groundwater monitoring and sampling of monitoring wells MW 1 through MW6 was <br /> conducted by Smith Technology Corporation(ATC Associates)personnel on August 29, 1997 Water <br /> level measurements were collected from all monitoring wells prior to purging and sampling <br /> Subsequent to monitoring, each well was purged by extracting a minimum of three well casing volumes <br /> of groundwater While purging, groundwater parameters (temperature, conductivity, and pH) were <br /> monitored and allowed to stabilize before water samples were collected Samples were collected using <br /> dedicated, disposable bailers with bottom emptying devices to reduce volatilization All purged <br /> groundwater was contained in 55-gallon drums approved for hazardous liquid storage on-site pending <br /> appropriate disposal Groundwater well purge and sample logs are contained in Attachment 1 <br /> The groundwater samples collected from each well were placed on ice and transported under <br /> chain-of-custody documentation to GTEL Environmental Labs (DOHS #2147) in Concord, <br /> California The groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline <br /> (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) utilizing EPA methods 8015/8020, <br /> and oxygenate fuel additives by EPA method 8260 <br /> - w 1625141quactly3gr-1997 doe 1 <br /> 1260 Graphics Drive - Modesto, CA 95351-1502 - (209)579-2221 - Fax(209)579-2225 <br /> Engineering - Consulting - Remediation - Construction <br />
