O <br /> SKYNY-Rw`ri ir'?f` „"i�.,.14f llrf l_7 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION <br /> November 28, 1995 <br /> Mr. Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject Third Quarter 1995 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> King Island Resort Site Code 1557 <br /> 11530 W Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California <br /> Mr Infurna <br /> This letter report is presented to update site activities performed in the third quarter 1995 at <br /> 11530 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1) Site activities included quarterly <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> The third quarter groundwater monitoring and sampling of monitoring wells MW 1 through MW6 <br /> was conducted by Smith Environmental Technologies Corporation personnel on September 27, <br /> 1995 Water level measurements were collected from all monitoring wells prior to purging and <br /> sampling during both events <br /> Subsequent to monitoring, each well was purged by extracting approximately 3 well casing <br /> volumes While purging, the groundwater parameters (temperature, conductivity, and pH) were <br /> monitored and allowed to stabilize before water samples were collected Samples were collected <br /> using dedicated, disposable bailers with bottom emptying devices to reduce volatilization The <br /> samples were transported to and analyzed by Argon Mobile Labs All purged groundwater was <br /> contained in a 55 gallon drum approved for hazardous liquid storage on-site pending appropriate <br /> disposal The well purge logs are included in Attachment I <br /> Groundwater samples were analyzed for BTEX using EPA Method 8020, and for TPHg and <br /> TPHd using modified EPA Method 8015 <br /> N 115007513QR-1995 WP5 <br /> 1260 Graphics Drive Modesto, CA 95351-1502 (209)579-2221 Fax(209)579-2225 <br /> Engineering Consulting Remediatton Construction <br />
