_ f ff ?Q Working To Restore Nature <br /> 1710 Main Street <br /> Escalon, CA 95320 <br /> Phone (209) 838-3507 <br /> FAX (209) 838-3509 <br /> July 7, 1994 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 2009 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Subject Second Quarter 1994 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> Kang Island Resort, Site Code 1557 <br /> 11530 W Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This letter report is submitted to present results of second quarter 1994 monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at 11530 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1) <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> Groundwater monitoring and sampling were conducted by RESNA personnel on June 1, 1994 Water <br /> level measurements were collected from each monitoring well prior to purging and sampling Water <br /> levels dropped an average of 0 66 feet since March 1994 (Table 1) A groundwater gradient map was <br /> created using the data collected on June 1, 1994 (Figure 2) Groundwater flow was to the northeast <br /> away from the slough, with a gradient of 0 065 feet/foot <br /> Subsequent to monitoring fluid levels, wells MW 1, MW4, MW5, and MW6 were purged by extracting <br /> between three and five well casing volumes of water Groundwater parameters (temperature, <br /> conductivity, and pH) were monitored and allowed to stabilize prior to sampling Samples were <br /> collected using dedicated, disposable bailers with bottom emptying devices to reduce volatilization <br /> The samples were transported to and analyzed by state-certified Argon Mobile Labs in Ceres, <br /> California All purged groundwater was contained in DOT approved 55 gallon drums and remains <br /> on site Groundwater monitoring data and well purge logs are included in Attachment 1 <br /> 1500751QUAR'rLY12QR-1994 FNL <br />
