The results of the PID screening will be <br /> recorded directly on the boring Iog. One soil sample from each borehole will be selected for chemical analysis <br /> on the basis of depth, lithology, PID field screening results, and other pertinent field observations. Selected <br /> soil samples will be transported under Chain-of-Custody documentation to a California state-certified <br /> laboratory for analysis for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylenes!(BTEX), total petroleum hydrocarbons <br /> (TPH) C4-C40, and naphthalene using a combination of GC/MS for EPA Method 8260 and 8270 protocol. <br /> [y <br /> I <br /> Task 2: Report Preparation <br /> Following completion of the above activities, SECOR will prepare a detailed report documenting our <br /> procedural steps, analytical results, and recommendations for this and-the January:1996 sampling events,:as_. f <br /> appropriate. A scaled diagram of the subject property depicting boring locations will also be provided. <br /> Appendices will include boring logs as well as laboratory reports.
