01 August 2011
AGE-NC Project No. 07-1536
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the environmental activities summarized in the report, AGE recommends:
• Schedule a meeting with the Regional Board concerning the decreased
concentrations of MTBE and the apparent degradation of the MTBE plume and how
this can accelerate the closure of this site.
• Reduction of quarterly ground water monitoring and reporting due to the long
historical record of data collected at the site and unnecessary financial burden
associated with replicating data.
• Remove surface sampling requirements for DDN and DDS.
6.0. LIMITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily
exercised by environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities. The findings
were based upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory. Evaluation of
the hydrogeologic conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation was made from
a limited number of available data points (i.e. ground water samples) and subsurface
conditions mayvary awayfrom these data points. No otherwarranty, expressed or implied,
is made as to the professional interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained
in this report.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc.
