M <br /> • 30 January 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 01-0865 <br /> Page 7of7 <br /> • MTBE was detected in ground water samples collected from every well except wells MW-10 <br /> through MW-12 and MW-14, the highest concentrations of dissolved MTBE occur in the <br /> apparent `core' area around wells MW-2, MW-3 and EW-1 All detected MTBE <br /> concentrations exceeded California's Maximum Contaminant Levels(MCLS)or were above <br /> the Secondary MCLS <br /> • TAME was recorded this quarter in samples MW-2,MW-3,MW-6 and EW-1,and TBA was <br /> recorded in samples MW-2 and EW-1 <br /> • No target analytes were detected at or above laboratory reporting limits in the surface water <br /> samples <br /> • The southern lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water is not defined, <br /> the vertical extent is not defined except in the vicinity of MW-11, west of the AST system <br /> 6.0. RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> • Based on the findings of this investigation, AGE recommends <br /> • Continuation of the quarterly monitoring program, the next monitoring event should be <br /> performed in March 2003 <br /> 7.0.
