' V Report-Soil and Groundwater Investigation
Herman&Helm's Marina
September 26, 1995
' Page-9
-
collection of soil and groundwater samples. Soil samples should be collected at five (5) foot intervals
' for geological logging and TPH-GBTEX/TEPH analyses. Groundwater samples should be taken
from each Geoprobe and analyzed for TPH-GBTEX/TEPH. A detailed work plan should be
' prepared for approval by the SJCEHD, the CRWQCB,and the Reclamation District#2029 prior to
commencement of the field work. The proposed Geoprobe locations are shown in Figure 4,
' Appendix A.
' Future investigations may include additional Geoprobes or Hydropunch II sampling located at
a greater distance from the former tank sites to investigate the lateral extent of contamination. After
the extent of contamination has been investigated, a Problem Assessment Report (PAR) should be
prepared and submitted to the SJCEHD, the CRWQCB,and the Reclamation District #2029 describing
' the extent of contamination. Based on the PAR and previous investigations, a Corrective Action Plan
(CAP) should then be completed and submitted to the SJCEHD, the CRWQCB, and the Reclamation
District #2029 for approval and implementation.
