From: Rho dora Del Rosario;BASELINE Environmental Consulting u- Subject: Discussion of Specific Conditions of Approval for Weber Block Redevelopment Project, Stockton The purpose of this memorandum is to document the conference telephone call today between you, Jerry Lile, and myself regarding specific conditions of approval for the March 2000 Preliminary Endangerment Assessment (PEA) prepared for the Weber Block (site) located in Stockton, t California. y The topics of discussion during our-conference call.were based on the 15 June,-2000 electronic' transmittal that BASELINE sent to DTSC;regarding:. i) a request;ta 'waive the;collection of ; additional groundwater sample for lead analysis at the GW#3 hydrae in location(sixth bullet of DTSC's condition of approval letter dated 23-February 2000; and 2) reconfirmation of DTSC's. approval to conduct the additional assessment of surface water and sediments and channel water utilization impact evaluation in conjunction with the separate water quality engineering study being.. = conducted by the City of Stockton through aU.S. EPA grant(fifth and seventh bullets of condition ,..' of approval letter). In addition, we discussed.th' approach for conducting the supplementalrisk assessment. Groundwater Sample Collection at GW#3 = The 15 June 2000 :electronic transmittal indicated that, the 99`h",percentile' blood:lead concentration was calculated to be 6.3µg leadldl blood for industrial users at the site(the only , receptors that would potentially be in contact with the underlying groundwater)based on the lead ,concentration of 75.3 g/L reported in the groundwater .§ample collected at GW#3.
