The'purposes of the. waste <br /> characterization are to: 1) classify-the excavated soil waste as either hazardous or nonhazardous-:`!`fi <br /> i <br /> waste; and:z) if the soil is,determined to be nonhazzardous, evaluate the waste for acceptance by <br /> Allied Waste disposal facility (formerly Forward landffil) in Stockton, California, a Class 11 <br /> nonhazaidouswaste disposal facility.
