LTH SERWCES o4 '"
PUBLIC SEA
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION
Ernest M. Fujimoto, M.D., M.P.H., Acting Health Officer °4►Fear'`'
445 N. San Joaquin Street • P.O. Box 388 • Stockton, CA 95201-0388
(209) 468-3420
June 9, 1994
PUBLIC NOTICE
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MMGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for remediation of an
underground storage tank site located at 141 North El Dorado Street, Stockton has been
reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division
(PHS/EHD). The plan was submitted, approved, and completed a public participation
comment period on October 12, 1991. Subsequently, the soil and groundwater remediation
systems were implemented and have been in operation. To enhance the remediation of
contaminated soil and groundwater, modifications of the systems have been proposed. The
modifications consist of enlarging the vapor extraction system and installing an air sparging
system.
PHS/EHD, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a determination that the plan is in
compliance with local, State and Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work
will not create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be
gained from cleanup of the contamination.
Questions should be directed to Mary Meays,Senior REHS, at(209) 468-0337 regarding site
specific information.
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
