El Dorado <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health <br /> Division (PHS/EHD) has reviewed the July 27, 1991, Groundwater <br /> Remedial Action Plan for the above referenced site. Your <br /> consultant, Resna Industries/WaterWork Corporation, has proposed to <br /> pump groundwater via extraction well(s) and treat the contamination <br /> with carbon filtration. The treated groundwater will then be <br /> disposed of to the sanitary sewer or by reinjection into monitoring <br /> well #5. <br /> Pursuant to Section 280. 67, Subpart F of 40CFR of the Federal <br /> Register, PHS/EHD will conduct a public notice to consider comments <br /> on your Remedial Plan. <br /> A full-volume Final Remediation Plan [FRP (along with pertinent <br /> documentation] is to be made available for review at the Stockton <br /> Public Library at 605 N. E1 Dorado St. , Stockton. The FRP will <br /> also be made available for review at the PHS/EHD office, 445 N. San <br /> Joaquin, Stockton, during normal business hours. <br /> The selection of the final remedial alternative will be made only <br /> upon review and consideration of comments received during the <br /> public comment period. The public comment period for the <br /> groundwater FRP will extend from September 16, 1991, through <br /> October 16, 1991. <br /> In the interim, please submit drilling permit application(s) for <br /> all proposed wells or borings. Field work may begin upon issuance <br /> of required permits. <br /> Please be advised that the quarterly monitoring reports must <br /> include all the data as outlined in Section 2652 (d) of the <br /> Underground Storage Tank Regulations (California Code of <br /> Regulations, Title 23, Subchapter 16) and as specified in the July <br /> 1, 1991, PHS/EHD correspondence.
