It is understood that the selection of the final remedial alternative.--will <br /> be made upon review and consideration of the comments received during the public <br /> comment period. f <br /> Pursuant to Section 280.67, Subpart F of 40 CFR-of the Federal Register, RESNA <br /> IndustrieslWaterWork Corporation has prepared this Executive Summary to accompany <br /> the Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHSIEHD) public notice. <br /> Petroleum hydrocarbons have-been identified at 141 N. El Dorado Street in Stockton, <br /> California, during the removal of the underground product storage tanks. Five <br /> groundwater monitoring wells and three vapor extraction wells have been installed at the <br /> site. Previous investigations have identified low levels of petroleum hydrocarbons in the <br /> soil and groundwater. To .remediate hydrocarbon-impacted groundwater, a pump and <br /> treat system will be utilized. A stainless steel submersible pump will be set in two <br /> groundwater recovery wells on site. The groundwater extracted from the recovery wells <br /> will be pumped into two 2,000 lb: carbon adsorption vessels, aerated with clean <br /> compressed air, and reinjected into a monitoring well onsite. <br /> -L090391.TLP <br />
