C.M. Weber Enterprises, Inc.
Pa e 2
JAN 4 9 1991
A full--volume draft FRP (along with pertinent documentation) is to
be made available for review at the Stockton Public Library at 605
N. El Dorado Street, Stockton. The draft FRP will also be made
available for review at the PHS/EHD office, 445 N. San Joaquin,
Stockton, during normal business hours.
The selection of the remedial alternative will be made only upon
review and consideration of comments received during the public
comment period. The public comment period for the draft FRP will
extend from January 15, 1991 to February 15, 1991.
Additional information will be required to determine the extent of
off-site soil contamination and groundwater contamination. A Work
Plan for additional soil borings, monitoring wells, and groundwater
analysis should also be submitted by February 1, 1991.
Pursuant to Section 2652 (d) of the Underground Storage Tank
Regulations (California Administrative Code, Title 23, Subchapter
16) a quarterly monitoring report shall be submitted to Public
Health Services, Environmental Health Division and Central Valley
Regional Water Quality Control Board (CVRWQCB) until the
investigation and cleanup of the site is deemed adequate. The
report is to show the:
-status of investigation and cleanup activities
including the results of all investigations
completed to date;
-proposed continuing or next phase of investigation;
-method of cleanup proposed or implemented,
schedules for the completion of the investigation
of the site and remediation;
-monitoring well data including groundwater
elevation, pH, conductivity, gradient;
-analytical results of groundwater or soil sampling;
and
-a site map showing the "zero line" of
contamination, if known, and changes in the above
measurements over the last quarter.
In the January 3 , 1991 meeting, it was brought to my attention that
additional responsible parties may be sought by your attorney,
Jeanne Zollezi, of Neumiller and Beardslee. Please submit
information identifying these parties to San Joaquin County,
PHS/EHD so we may add them to our data base.
