(Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equiva <br /> Services LLC (Equiva) to document the destruction of. eleven groundwater monitoringswells <br /> i , <br /> at the above referenced site. This work was performed to allow redevelopment,,of the site <br /> and the adjacent surrounding properties. The well destructions_were performed according.to <br /> G our August 18 2000 Well Destruction Work Plan according to San Joaquin County Public <br /> Health <br /> , <br /> Health Services (SJCPHS) August 24, 2000 approval letter, and the California .Well <br /> Standards - Well Destruction Guidelines. <br /> Site Description <br /> The subject site is currently a vacant paved lot, which was formerly a Shell service station. <br /> The site is located on property now owned by the City of Stockton Redevelopment Agency <br /> (CSRA). More recently, the site is being used as a staging and storage area for construction <br /> work in the vicinity of the site. <br />{ Well Destructions <br /> I <br /> f Cambria obtained a well destruction permit from SJCPHS (Appendix A). On September 18 <br />[ <br /> Oakland. C A and 19, 2000, Cambria field staff observed Gregg Drilling, Inc. (Gregg) of Martinez, <br /> San Ramon, CA California destroy wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-5, VEW-1, VEW-2, and VEW-4 by over-drilling <br /> Sonoma, CA the wells with hollow-stem augers to remove the sanitary seat, the well casing, and the filter <br /> Cambria pack. After drilling, the boreholes Were backfilled to grade with neat cement grout. Wells <br /> DiAmnmental MW-3, MW-4, VEW-3, RW-1, and RW-2 were properly destroyed by pressure-grouting with <br /> Technology,Inc. neat cement grout.
