i , F <br /> Man <br /> FUGRO WEST, INC <br /> 1050 Melody Lane Suite 160 <br /> Roseville California 95678 <br /> November 28, 1995 Tel (916)782-2110 <br /> Project No 9347-3011 FAX (916)786-7830 <br /> Mr Lynn Walker <br /> Shell Oil Products Company <br /> Post Office Box 4023 <br /> Concord, California 94524 <br /> Subject Third Quarter 1995 Ground Water Morutoring and Remediation Status Report <br /> Former Shell Service Station (WIC No 204-7524-1509) <br /> 141 North El Dorado, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Mr Walker <br /> Fugro Weft, Inc , (Fugro) is pleased to provide Shell Oil Products Company (Shell) the <br /> following report to (1) document the results of quarterly ground water monitoring, conducted on <br /> October 5, 1995, at the subject site by Blaine Tech Services, Inc , of San Jose, California, and <br /> (2) provide remediation systems monitoring results and status <br /> Analytical results of ground water samples collected from the monitoring wells at the site <br /> indicate no detectable dissolved petroleum hydrocarbons except low concentrations in well MW-2 <br /> RW-1, and RW-2 <br /> Site remediation systems currently in operation consist of soil venting with granular <br /> activated carbon (GAC) emissions control, and ground water oxygenation (GWO) Ground water <br /> pumping operation with discharge to sewer was shut down on October 3, 1995 <br /> We await response from the San Joaquin County Public Health Services (SJCPHS) to the <br /> September 29, 1995, Fugro report titled, Remediation Summary, System Shut off Request, and <br /> Confirmation of Soil Boring Workplan <br /> Quarterly Sampling Results <br /> Based on the October 5, 1995, quarterly ground water sampling event, dissolved-phase <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons were only detected in the water samples collected from wells MW-2, <br /> RW-1, and RW-2 Up to 0 0046 and 0 15 parts per million (ppm) benzene and total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbon as gasoline(TPH-G),respectively, were detected in the water samples collected from <br /> the wells Attachment A includes the quarterly ground water monitoring report <br /> 93473011 DSR <br /> A member of the Fugro group of companies with offices throughout the world <br />
