System consists of one regenerative blower with 5 hp motor and two 2000 Ib GAC units in series (Unit 1 and Unit 2) System start-up was conducted by Aegis Environmental (now Fugro West) on 6123/93 avg = average of three sets of measurements collected at 15 minute intervals (as required by air permit) GAC = granular activated carbon Airflow measured between Unit 1 and Unrt 2 except on 7111/94 and 8123/94 Airffow measured at the vent well manifold on 7/11/94 and 8/23194 Influent = prior to Unrt 1/soil vent blower discharge Effluent = Unrt 2 (atmospheric discharge) TPH = total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline ppmv = parts per million by volume FiD -field measurement from flame ionization detector calibrated to hexane(Model Century OVA 128 by Foxboro Company) LAB = laboratory analysis ND = not detected at indicated reporting limit ACFM = actual cubic feet per minute SCFM = standard cubic feet per minute (14 7 PSI and 70 deg F) PSI = pounds/square inch See attached extraction rate calculation Cumulative extraction is calculated by averaging extraction rates for consecutive sampling events and summing up previous total 'Cumulative TPH extraction calculations do not Include TPH extraction between 1/7-1/27 & 718-7111194 t i
