INTRODUCTION
At,the 'request of Mr,Den Ueda, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this
quarterly report for the property located at 308 South El Dorado Street, Stockton, California(site)
The scope of work included conducting a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation
of this report The location of the site and the immediately surrounding area are illustrated on Figure
1, structures, former underground storage tank(UST)locations, and soil boring and monitoring well
locations are illustrated on Figure 2
I ; Based on subsurface investigation to date,AGE has developed a hydrogeologic model consisting of
`four informal units a vadose(unsaturated)zone and three hydrogeologic units(HU1 through HU3)
I Hydrogeologic units were delineated based on soil types, hydraulic characteristics(e'g pore pressure
and hydraulic conductivity) and vertical and lateral continuity
I
In general
• HU1, extending from the vadose zone to approximately 45 feet below surface grade (bsg),
10 is comprised of silt and clay and characterized by predominantly high pore pressure
• HU2,extending from 45 to approximately 90 feet bsg,is composed predominantly of silt and
clay, with the lower contact on a sand layer with limited`gravel content(HU3) This interval
is characterized by pore pressures varying from low to moderate
HU3, extending from 90 feet bsg to the maximum depth of the soil borings, is comprised
primarily of a sand layer with limited gravel conterit overlaid by silt and clay This interval
is characterized by low pore pressure and may be classified as a flow unit, based on the
extensive nature of the sediment There are no wells installed at the site to sample ground
water from this unit
P
Site history and findings from previous investigations and monitoring events are provided in
Appendix A y
I `
2.0. PROCEDURES
This report was prepared in accordance with Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board
(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of UST sites Ground water monitoring p'r`ocedures
'were performed as outlined in the AGE-prepared Site, Investigation Work Plan, dated
05 February 1996
Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc
i
I t
t
I
