PROCEDURES - <br /> The work was pei formed in accordance with San' Joaquin County Public Health Sei vices - <br /> Enviionmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Contiol <br /> Board guidelines for investigation of underground storage tank (UST) sites and was conducted as <br /> described in the PHS-EHD-approved Site Investigation Work Plan pi epai ed by AGE, dated 05 <br /> February 1996 ; <br />' 12 1 - ,-MONITORING WELL PURGE PROCEDURES <br /> On 30 Manch 2000, depths to ground water were measured in each well'from the tops of the well <br /> r casings at the site to the neat est 0 01 foot utilizing a Solmst water level meter(Table'1) After gi ound <br /> water depth measuiements were collected, each monitoring well was purged using a two-stage <br /> submei sable pump A minimum of 3 well volumes of water were evacuated fi om each well casing <br /> Temperature, pH and conductivity of the purging',water�were measured at regular purge-volume <br />' intervals using a Hydac Water Analyzer Stabilization data and field logs are included in'Appendix <br /> A Puiged water was stored in 55-gallon drums temporarily on-site <br /> r, <br /> ' ' <br /> 22 COLLECTIONL AND ANALYSIS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES <br /> k <br /> Water samples were collected from each monitoring well using new disposable bailers The samples <br /> .� weie transferred into 40-m1 EPA-approved,volatile organic analysis (VOA) vials containing 0 5 ml <br /> hydi ochloric acid(18%) as a preservative The samples were transported in a chilled container,under <br /> I <br /> ' <br /> Advanced(,epEnvironmental,Inc <br /> 1 I <br />
