(QST) is pleased to <br /> submit this workplan for additional site assessment at the subject site. The objective of the <br /> additional site assessment is to determine the presence or absence of petroleum hydrocarbon i <br /> concentrations in the soil and groundwater. Background information and our proposed scope of t <br /> work are described in the following sections. <br /> SIM DESC=QN AND ERSTOR <br /> The former facility was located at the northeast comer of the intersection of North El Dorado <br /> Street and Lindsay Street in Stockton, California (Figure 1). The 4 Freeway is approximately 112- <br /> mile south of the former facility. Stockton City Hall and McLeod Lake are across El Dorado <br /> Street to the west of the former facility. <br /> Geology <br /> The ground surface elevation at the former facilityis approximately at sea level Geological <br /> � l?P Y (U.S. Geolo 'cal � <br /> Survey, 1962). The former facility is located within the physiographic province known as the San <br /> Joaquin Valley, which is part of the greater Central Valley Basin.
