From the site go east on Lindsay;Street!for about 0.25 miles. <br /> 2. Turn left onto California Street and travel north approximately 0.75 miles to Saint <br /> Joseph's Hospital. The hospital will be on the right hand side. <br /> 7.2 Emergency Procedures <br /> :f <br /> i <br /> The following standard emergency procedures will be used by onsite personnel. The <br /> HSO will be notified of any onsite emergencies and will be responsible for ensuring that <br /> appropriate procedures are followed. <br /> Personnel Injury: If an injury occurs on site, stabilize the injured person, follow the <br /> decontamination procedures as practical, ands notify the HSO. The HSO will assess the <br /> nature of the injury. If the cause of the injury; or the loss of the injured person does not <br /> affect the performance of site personnel, operations may continue, with the appropriate <br /> onsite field personnel initiating the appropriate;first-aid and necessary follow-up. <br /> Fire/Explosion: On notification of a fire or explosion on site, all site personnel will . <br /> assemble at the decontamination line. The fire department will be alerted, and personnel <br /> will retreat a safe distance from the involved area. <br /> Personal Protective Equipment Failure: If:;a'ny field personnel experience a failure or <br /> 5 alteration of PPE that affects the protection factor, that person and his/her buddy will <br /> immediately leave the exclusion zone through,wthe decontamination line. Reentry will not <br /> be permitted until the equipment has been repaired or replaced. <br /> Other Equipment Failure: If any other equipment on site fails to operate properly, the <br /> HSO will be notified and will determine the effect of this failure on continuing site <br /> ,f <br /> operations.
