3
PUBLIC NOTICE ` J
NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING
SITE MITIGATION PLAN
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a corrective action plan for
remediation of an underground leaking storage tank site located at
400 N. El Dorado St. , in the City of Stockton (APN139-070-09--8) on
the southwest corner of E1 Dorado, and Lindsay Street, has been
reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Division(PHS/EHD) . The plan is a proposal for
mitigation of hazardous substances which contaminated the site due
to unauthorized releases associated with underground storage tanks
(UST) which were located on the property.
San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health
Division, Local UST Oversight Program, has made a tentative
determination that the plan is in compliance with local, State and
Federal laws and regulations and that the resultant work will not
create significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the
benefits to be gained from cleanup of the contamination.
The corrective action plan is available for public review at the
Central Library, 605 N. El Dorado Street, Stockton, and PHS/EHD,
445 N. San Joaquin Street, Stockton, California, during normal
working hours, 8 : 00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. If a written request by any
member of the public for a public hearing is not received by
PHS/EHD by October 6, 1991, the tentative decision shall become
final on that date and time.
All requests for public hearings must be filed in writing to
PHS/EHD at P.O. Box 2009, Stockton, 95201. Questions regarding the
specific site or procedures should be directed to Harlin Knoll,
REHS, at (209) 468-3442 .
Dated; September 3, 1991
By: Laurie Cotulla, Program Manager, Unit IV
Publish: September 8, 1991
Newspaper: Stockton Record
