Hoist Removal & Excavation <br /> Service @ 400 N E1 Dorado, Stockton, CA <br /> General Contracting <br /> and Complete <br /> Build-Up Dear Ms. Scheutzow. <br /> The following is a report of the hoist removal at <br /> Site Remedial Action the above site. On April 25, 1991, six hoist were <br /> removed Soil samples were collected under each hoist <br /> (six total) . These procedures were done without the <br /> Wood Earth involvement of the San Joaquin County Health Department <br /> Machine"' <br /> (they do not typically get involved with hoist <br /> removals) . <br /> Results of the TPH analysis for hoist #'s 3, 5, r <br /> and 6 showed hydrocarbons present in the motor oil <br /> range (see attached lab analysis, dated 4/26/91) When <br /> we went back to the site the week of September 9th, <br /> these three hoist excavations Samples were dropped in <br /> the laboratory and resultant analysis was suspect (see <br /> analysis dated 9/11/91) . <br /> With the resampling results being inconclusive due <br /> to the laboratory foul up, we resampled hoist #'s 3 and <br /> 6 on a return to the site on November 19th At this <br /> time the soil was examined and did not appear to have <br /> any odor or any appearance which would suggest oil <br /> contamination An organic vapor analyzer did not <br /> detect any vapors from this soil. Dennis Miller of <br /> P 0Box 16863 Miller Engineering examined the soil also and concurred <br /> 5667 Broadway with our field observations. Nonetheless, samples were <br /> Denver,Colorado 80216 re-submitted to the lab (at no charge) for analysis. <br /> (=)293-Fual(3M Results reveal that hydrocarbons are stall present in <br /> Fax(303)296-7911 both excavations (see lab analysis dated 11/13/91) <br /> The lab was contacted to double check their results and <br /> eranite,Suite E they are standing behind their findings <br /> Corona,Cahfosua 91719 <br /> (714)279-6210 <br /> Fax(714)279-6215 <br />
