The proposed locations of the soil borings and monitoring well are depicted <br /> in Fi pure 2. <br /> Soi] probe borings advancement and soil sampling will be established under procedures detailed in <br /> the Interim ff"ork Plan-June 1995 approved by the PHS-EHD. Grab water samples will be collected <br /> from four of the soil probe borings using a Geoprobe water sampling assembly. Samples will be <br /> collected in 40-m1 VOA vials, labeled, placed in a chilled container and transported under chain-of- <br /> custody to a state-ccrtified laboratory. <br /> The construction and installation of the ground water monitoring well will in accordance with <br /> procedures established in the JI'ork Plan Addendum - June 1997, approved by the PHS-EHD. <br /> Sampling will be conducted \with continual quarterly motoring. <br /> Soil and water samples will be analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline <br /> (TPH-g). volatile aromatics (benzene, toluene. ethyl benzene and total xylenes: BTE&X) and the <br /> oxN-2enating fuel additives: methyl-tert-buts l ether (MTBE), tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA), di- <br /> isopropyl ether (DIPS), ethvl tertiary butyl ether (ETBE) and tertiary amyl methyl ether (TAME) <br /> in accordance with EPA Methods 8015, 8020 and 8260m. respectively. <br /> Quarterly reports will be submitted to the PHS-EHD and the CVRWQCB. The quarterly reports NN-ill <br /> include analytical results and field data collected at the site. Quarterly reports will be reviewed and <br /> signed by a California Registered Geologist. <br /> A Site Health and Safety Plan is currently on file for the site.
